Am I going crazy, or are people just straight up spoiling Poisonous Love everywhere?
I can’t scroll through TikTok, Twitter (X), or even Instagram without seeing huge spoilers for scenes that haven’t even aired yet. Not even vague hints — full-on screenshots, quotes, and detailed explanations of what’s about to happen.
And yeah, I’ve read the book and the special chapters (plethora of times) but even I’m frustrated. There are a lot of people who haven’t read either the book or special chapters.
It’s not about whether you already know the story — it’s about respecting the experience of watching it unfold in a new way. The show has changed some things, improved others, and that’s exactly why it deserves to be experienced fresh.
Like… Affair, GAP, even Blank — people managed to talk about those without completely ruining them. But Mate the Series was spoiled to death before half the audience could even catch up, which I honestly blame on the whole fast-track release. And now it’s happening again with Poisonous Love, and it sucks to see.
No one should have to go the extra mile to block words or mute tags just to avoid seeing spoilers on their feeds. It’s not that hard to be considerate — if you’re going to post about future events, at least tag it or add a spoiler warning. It takes two seconds and makes a huge difference.
Don’t ruin a good story just because you already know what’s coming. Let people feel it for themselves. 🖤
