Asus Chromebook will be available in Q4
Rumors has been floating around for a while about the Asus enter to the Chromebook segment. Currently, there was huge demand for the Googleâs Chromebooks across the world. The leading electronic manufacturer like Acer and HP has already started its debut in the market, now Toshiba and Asus are going to launch their first Chromebook computers in the market. Asus Chromebook, its first Chrome OS powered device and it is expected to launch in fourth quarter of this year. The company has not provided much details about this Chromebook Asus, but more details are expected in the coming months. Mostly, Asus laptops maker was originally hesitant about joining the Chromebook market but the recent downfall in the Windows laptop shipments turned the company to entry the Chromebook market.
 Previous Asus has also got success with good working relationship with Google via the Nexus program. Due to the decrease in PC sales, possibly the Chromebook sales have been steadily increasing in the market. Reportedly, the company is reducing its notebook shipment forecast to 17 â 19 million units this year and the company originally predicted at 22 - 24 million units every year. With this new chromebook, the company is trying to gain a a portion of the education market share. The leaked press shots reveals that the new Asus Chromebook features an exceptionally high build quality or unique design qualities compared to other. Even it may look cheaper in both feel and appearance, overall performance will be fares very well.
 There are currently no details about the Asus chromebook price. With the launch of this low cost chromebook, the company is hoping to stake out a slice of the increasing demand in education market. If rumours are to be believed, the company is also planning to launch a refreshed VivoBook running Windows 8.1 later this year. It is quite common to get many speculations about the gadget before its launch. According to some reports, the manufacturer will sports a 10.1-inch VivoBook called the X102BA which will offer a 1GHz dual-core A4-1200 AMD processor, and a Radeon HD 8180 225MHz GPU. It is said to offers two USB 2.0, HDMI, VGA, one USB 3.0, card reader (SD), Ethernet and a 3.5mm headset connector as a connectivity options. The Chromebook shipments are currently still suffering from weak demand. We can also expect the Google may work on with the other leading manufacturers in increasing the Chromebooks to more markets in 2014.
