yknow how when some people do their makeup they have their cats there while they do it and they’ll take a clean brush with no makeup on it and lightly tap their cats cheekbones and nose and stuff. bc their cats are so curious about what they’re doing and their owners want them to feel included. yeah what i’m saying is husk is so enamored by angel’s 86-step makeup process and just sits and watches bc he thinks makeup is stupid but he’s also incredibly curious and thinks that angel is really pretty and angel teases him about it all the time

So, I just called my mum because I was finally, finally, at a point with the OFMD news where I started to cry (it was Rhys' fault), and calling my mum is what I do when I'm falling apart, and I kept apologising to her for full blown ugly sobbing in her ear about this fictional show because 'it's silly' and 'it's not important', and she very firmly told me to shut up and said 'but it's not silly because it's important to you, and you're allowed to be sad'. So I just wanted to share that, in case anyone needed to hear it.

if we can't have s3, i really hope we get to know the story somehow. i propose a kickstarter for a graphic novel of s3's plot. shit would get funded in 5 minutes.

i wanted to see them hug!!! i wanted a slow pan into their inn to open season 3, with a focus on all the trinkets and furniture and repairs they’ve done since we last saw them, for the camera to finally focus on ed and stede asleep and cuddled in their bed together!!! i wanted to see them really settle with each other, with that new security and trust and love, i wanted domesticity and casual affection!!! fuck i just wanted to see them actually be a couple past the initial figuring it out stage!!!

they were going to get married. we were going to see them struggle with the inn, and grow together, and overcome new obstacles. we were going to see how the crew’s journey came to a close, where the revenge ended up, what happened with their plans for prince ricky. we were going to see them fight for each other one last time. we got a happy ending in case this very thing happened, but we didn’t get THE happy ending - the one david jenkins has had in mind the whole time. ed and stede weren’t finished, the crew weren’t finished, their stories hadn’t truly concluded and i am so sad.

i’m genuinely so sad, i’m gonna miss the show and the community people have made because of it
