hi @taylorswift , just wanted to give you a little update about my life. i'm no longer 17, I'm 18!! we celebrated my birthday at midnight with my mom and dad, it was a small celebration yet beautiful.

i don't know whether i'm supposed to be excited or nervous about being 18, but one thing i know is, just like how you were there for me in my childhood, in my adolescence, I know you'll be there for me as I start my journey into adulthood as a young, mature responsible and independent woman who can live life on my own terms and form my own opinions and express them without oppressing them.

Miss Americana helped me gain a lot of perspective and I've learnt a lot in the last 7 days, as an adult in this crazy yet existent world i need to be a leader in my own eyes first, to be a fearless leader, to be an alpha type, to hustle in and put in the work and make my power moves with various decisions of my life. This taught me so much right now, lessons which I could apply while I start transforming into a young, mature and beautiful woman. It helped me gain a lot of perspective and deeply think about who I want to be and what I can accomplish as a woman who could do her best to change the world around her. I need to be strong and confident enough to have my own opinions and views than sticking on the old stuff the world holds on to.

i still have a lot of things to learn and discover in life, study well, work hard and create a career in the field I aspire to, but most importantly I'll live life to the fullest and experience everything in its entirety, make new memories and capture and hold on to them.

right now, i have my finals so I'm preparing for it and various exams coming along which could change my life and I really hope all the hard work and effort pays off with flying colours.

I'M JUST SO PROUD OF YOU TAYLOR AND EVERYTHING THAT YOU HAVE ACHIEVED & that I have such a wonderful and powerful woman I could look up to. I love you much Tay, I could have never asked for an Angel who can become such an important person in my life, truly I'm so blessed and grateful to have you in my life. words can't express what you mean to me Tay. Thank you so much Tay for everything, for being my best friend, my big sister, my inspiration, my Angel. I'll be there for you forever and ever. words can never express what you mean to me Tay.
