Apocalypse Dad is a 44-page comic being published by Seattle's Cold Cube Press. It offers a critical response to the "cool dad with beard and baggage protects his daughter from the apocalypse" trope that's been prevalent in pop storytelling for the past few years. We follow Apocalypse Dad as he seeks to fulfill his function of finding his daughter in a world of trash.
Come check out the project I've been working on for the past six months! I'll have a table set up at New Moon from 4-8 on Saturday the 28th -- See the full collection of original pages, have some snacks, get a book, participate in "comix discourse," and hang out with some nice nerds.
Apocalypse Dad will also be available through my Etsy and Cold Cube’s online store.

I made a comic for this week’s special 4/20 issue of The Seattle Weekly about the time I met a real-life pirate who had lost his cockatoo in Cal-Anderson park. Read it on Seattle Weekly’s site or catch it in print tomorrow!
Taken from Apocalypse Dad, coming next month via Cold Cube Press.
Apocalypse Dad is finished and will be released next month via Cold Cube Press. I’m so, so stoked about this comic and I can’t wait for y’all to read it! There will also be a release event in Olympia, with originals on display; details TBA.
Mary Kallem & I made this full-pager about her brief stint working at Amazon for The Seattle Weekly. It’s real big, so click here to read it real big. Catch it in this Week’s Weekly, on newsstands tomorrow.
