1) Fics must be approximately 1000 words.  2) Fics may be any ratings. 3) Up to five pairings my be chosen. Poly fics are included. Please remember that the rarer the pairing, the harder it’ll be to match it. 4) If you think you’ll have to drop out of the challenge let me know asap. 5) No RPF sorry. 6) No crossovers sorry. 7) This is an anonymous challenge, so don’t reveal your work until it has been revealed on AO3!

Hello, welcome (back) to Kiliel Week! This October, for the second year in a row, we’re putting together a week to appreciate and celebrate the relationship between Kíli and Tauriel from Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit movies, mostly focused on their romance. Despite its controversy, it’s a well-loved ship by its fans– and this week is an effort to rejoice in our love for it!

How are we doing it? In any way we can! Edits, gifsets, fanart, fanfic, fanmixes, etc.– everything goes, so long as it’s Kiliel-centered! Below you have some prompts and you can use for inspiration, and a calendar of the event’s plan!

I’m making @lady-lucrezia Tauriel’s daggers because I love her and I can. Obviously they’re unshaped at the moment; I need to carve them down and then the hilts at least are getting covered in worbla. But you get the idea. And if I post about it then I’m committed to actually finishing them shortly, so hooray.
