Hot weather carrying 🌞 Nailed it, today on the school run with our Size 3 Solarweave Integra, and my parasol. (Both are made out of material that protects from UV rays!) Carried my 3 year old on the way there, and my almost 5 year old on the way back! The three stages of a birthday party for 5 year olds. 1 - Non stop asking when we are going to the party. From when you get the invite until before you walk through the doors of the party. 2 - When we get there do not interact with anyone, actively wind up the caregiver in charge of you by getting them to repeat anything. Never leave caregivers side, if possible cling to and climb on them. Do not under any circumstances enjoy yourself. 3 - When the party is finished ask for your party to be the same as that one. Because it was clearly the party of the century.

Babywearing. The best way to walk anywhere with a child of any age. Up here I can hear him, he can see what I can see, he can have a rest, and I can walk as fast as I want. Today we saw so many flowers, and stopped to smell most of them. Today is the World Day of Human Milk Donation. I donated my extra milk to a local milk bank with my second child. It really helped me to heal the old wounds of not being able to give my first child my milk past 4 months. I would implore anyone who has the time and ability to donate milk to do so. My boy is 4. I can't believe it. 😭 I've been preparing the house by (trying to) declutter and get rid of all the old toys and bits. (And going for quality over quantity when picking presents.) I've been preparing my soul by looking at pictures of me pregnant and not even being able to remember, let alone imagine what life was like before him.

Admiring the accidental beauty of the mess I make whilst re-rainbowing my hair. I love that my son always points to rainbows and says "just like mummy," I want to always be his rainbow. There for him after any storm ❤💛💚💙💜
