As a survivor from an abusive relationship/ marriage. Dealing with abuse is one thing, but dealing with it in the church is something completely different. People are afraid to talk about it because they are afraid of the reaction that they will get from the "church people." Some people would rather stay in an abusive relationship than to start a fresh and free life, just to "save face" in the church scene. I've been there and done it. So with that being said...
