  Oliver’s heart leapt when Tanner took his hand. He grinned, “So can we count this as our first date? And hopefully not our last…”

Tanner nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, yeah, I mean of course. I'd uh, I'd really like to see you again." He smiled.

  Oliver gave him a sheepish smile. “Well, I was kind of hoping it would be. I-I really like you, Tanner.” He admitted softly, feeling like he was taking a huge leap of faith in saying so.

Tanner felt a wave of confidence wash over him. In a courageous moment, he gr abbed Oliver's hand. "I feel the same way..." he returned with a sheepish smile of his own.
