Rapunzel’s eyes were wide, taking in the appearance of the stranger before her. Now that was a sight for a painting. (Hopefully she could differentiate it enough that it didn’t look like a self portrait.)

“Is your hair magic, too?” Rapunzel’s cheeks flushed pink as she remembered you were generally supposed to start with “hello”, but too late to take it back. “It’s just— I’ve never met anyone else with hair that long before.” Apparently it was ‘impractical’. Nobody seemed to pay any heed to her argument that once it got long enough it became extra practical.

|| 🌙 ||: ❝ Oh! Oh no it’s- it’s just regular hair. ❞

Naomi half-laughs, a hand finding it’s way to said locks, gently brushing fingers through them now that attention was brought to it- and to check if it was floating around. She’d wondered why the other had been staring at her, though she assumed it was because of her eyes. The fact that it was her hair, needless to say she was thrown for quite a loop. 

|| 🌙 ||: ❝ I-I just like having it long. S-Sometimes it’s a-a hassle but I like it- ❞

With that said she offers a soft smile, 

|| 🌙 ||: ❝ So– You asked it it was magic too?  A-As in your hair is magic? ❞

Rapunzel offered a slightly sheepish smile at her response, hoping she didn't come off like a crazy person. Her own hair was magic, after all! It was a legitimate question! Maybe not the best opening line with a stranger, but still!

"Good morning, Rapunzel." the queen said with a warm and inviting smile.

"I slept really good," Rapunzel admitted with a nod, fingers wandering to play with her hair only to awkwardly hover in the spot where her hair used to be. "I mean, I kinda wanted to keep exploring, but with everything that happened, I was already really tired, and the bed— I never knew beds could be that soft!"

The tower had been comfortable, no doubt about it. She slept like a princess in her big comfy bed, wrapped in her blankets and her hair. But it turned out, "like a princess" was nothing compared to what an actual princess got. Plus... despite being a completely new place, for once, she felt completely safe and at peace.

“Okay, just a liiittle to the left… perfect! Stay just like that.” Rapunzel peered through the frame of her fingers as she lined him up before dashing back to her easel. Expression softening, she added, “Thanks for doing this, Eugene. I’ve just— never had a male model before.” A weakness in her art she intended to correct. But that meant a lot of practice.

Rapunzel gave that short laugh she often did at Eugene's playful puffery, smiling back at him. "I'll do my best!" Drawing guys shouldn't be that different from drawing girls, right? Eugene was taller than her— a lot taller— and definitely more chiseled, but the basic principles should hold the same.
