I haven’t translated much recently because I’ve been avoiding looking at promo images on twitter before the episodes come out, but I made a discord server for anyone interested in studying Japanese! It’s just a small server for sharing study tips and what-not, but feel free to join ^^

I’m also going to post a screenshot of a line from each Fruits Basket episode when it airs, explaining the Japanese used and a word-by-word translation.

This blog started as way to test to my skills as a translator, but it has grown into a hobby that gives me no end of enjoyment. Thank you to everyone for the kind messages, donations, or for simply enjoying the blog (even when I’m not doing a great job at it) <3

A few weeks ago I got a job in Japan, and I used being an ‘unofficial online translator’ (lol) to boost my chances in the interview. So thank you for that little edge over the competition, and here’s to another year of happy, sad, strange and wonderful tweets from Takaya Sensei!
