The cat had seemed to have gotten themselves lost. There was a rumor going around, something they had heard through the underground. The rumor being there was a spike in the amount of felines in the area. Particularly of the demon variety.
They were never near many of their own kind, but it wasn’t as if the black cat was part of the demon variety anymore either. One of these rumors were said this one particular bakeneko was in a small house away from other monsters. Suppose one should try and get to know others. There were a bunch of mixed rumors, so they aren’t sure if this one would be ready to attack or laugh…
Probably laugh, a tailless bakeneko is no threat to anyone, especially with their poor magic skills.

Rumors had spread rampantly through undernet since the Nekomata fiasco it would seem. Residents of Snowdin were beginning to give her looks, and honestly it made Keno almost PRAY for the next swift RESET to wipe their memories.Â
She honestly would rather be a shadow then be gawked at in this matter. It was because of these rumors that Keno stuck around her home, only going into town if ABSOLUTELY needed. And even then it was for small amounts of time.Â
The sound of snow crunching and the bakeneko would stide through the clearing that lead to the poor attempt at reconstructing her home. Loose boards and a lean-to structure . It was small but it’d work for now.Â
Keno set down a few boards, letting out a sigh before getting back to work, not noticing an approaching figure not far behind her.Â
Ears would move to the faint crunch sounds of the snow, with steps they could tell that were not their own. They stopped and it would seem they had been turned around quite a bit. One would think someone would notice a clearing but with all of their wandering, everything just had looked the same.
But sounds of someone else walking about, maybe they could lead them in the right direction! With a skip in their step, they would follow where those sounds would be, not really judging the distance of where those sounds were leading to.
The black cat would skid to a stop, now the clearing much more noticeable as they were now in the open and able to see the figure carrying wood to a small house. Could this be what those rumors had talked about? Well the figure did have a tail and the clothing did look the type to be  from their homeland.
But if the bakeneko was territorial, they didn’t want to find that out and would do their best to slowly and quietly back away….into a branch snapping the moment they stepped on it.
