Years ago I had a realization: I was watching a special on the Apollo program and it described the moon as “a hostile environment.” But it occurred to me that it really isn’t. The moon is what it’s like to be on a world utterly indifferent to you. It’s not providing you air, water, food, anything. It’s not trying to kill you; it just is doing absolutely nothing to keep you alive.

I am so sick and tired of seeing the trans women around me being slowly hot coaled into the closet and into essentially being forced back into "Men who would really love being women but Can't because they Aren't". It is so painful stop fucking doing this to our trans women. Stop forcing them to be "Fine" with being called dude bro man he and biologically male stop it stop it stop it you are killing her. You are killing her.

looking back at my teenage years i was so very obviously drowning in gender dysphoria but at the time i had no idea what that was. i had such an intense background radiation of self loathing, i was depressed, i didnt care for how i dressed, i hated looking in the mirror. i didnt have a sense of self, i couldnt conceive of a future, i was a husk. and for all those years my only examples of trans women were "man in a dress" and "knew it the whole time" and neither of those were me so it never occured to me i could be trans. i dont know where id be now if i didnt have a friend bully me onto tumblr when i was 17 or 18, thats where i learned i could be a girl. about 8 months into hrt i spent a whole evening sobbing because i realized how much weight had been lifted from me, how much less i hated myself and how bad it was when i was young. my high school years were stolen from me and ill never get them back. fuck everyone refusing to represent transfemininity. fuck everyone who thinks its taboo to be transfem. fuck the egg prime directive. nobody should have to suffer like that
