She didn’t know what she was doing there, right in front of his door, standing still looking at it while having inner battle, arguing with herself whether to knock or not. She knew knocking would be a bad idea, almost like setting herself in another trip down to hurts-ville or pain-palooza, but for a week she felt like she hadn’t been herself, she had been cooped up inside her apartment, only getting out of her room to get the take outs she ordered everyday and she felt miserable, she felt hurt and lonely, usually when she felt crappy she knew she had Zach to go to, but this time, she didn’t know if she can still do that.
She raised her hand to knock, but taking it down again, hesitating, before she gave the door three knocks. Once she had done that, a strange wave of panic hit her and she turned around, about to go back to the elevator and back to her room when she heard the door opening, praying it was his room mate who opened the door and not him.
