His gaze is soft but full of questions, cocking his head to the side as he takes in her appearance. "Zara."

A grin pulls her lips as she rushes towards and throws herself into his arms, knocking him off balance and onto the ground. He lays on his back as she lays her head on his chest, his hand reaching up and gently resting on her shoulder. It had been a few days that he was gone and yet, he always found his way back to her.

"What are you doing here?" She asks excitedly, although his answer wasn't important - she was more than happy just to see him.

There's discomfort in his voice, but he hums as he responds. "I could ask you the same thing."

Zara laughs and lifts her head, eyes inspecting his face, wet from the rain and hair falling out of place and clinging to his forehead. "It's raining." She rolls her eyes at his expression. "It's been a long time since it's rained. I wanted to enjoy it."

The look he held told her that he didn't particularly enjoy laying out in the rain but wasn't going to complain... much. "You're going to make yourself sick."

"I'll be fine." She mutters and lays her head back down, her ear to his chest, listening to the rhythm of his heart beat and his breathing. It's a little quick...

Silco takes her hand in his and pulls it up to his cheek, frowning at the chill from her touch against his skin. "You're cold, my dear."

"And yet, I feel so warm like this." Zara smiles and sits up, pushing herself closer and padding her thumb over his cheek. She presses her lips against his jaw, earning another low hum but appeased and content now.

There's a brief moment of silence between them but then Silco sighs and pushes himself up, ignoring her whining. "Come, let's go home."
