An adult transfemme recently shot up a school so mentally prepare yourselves for an influx of transphobia and transmisogyny in coming hours and days.
The amount of people who hate Invisigal for the crime of *looks at notes* being a horny woman are insane.
Let a woman be a pervert!
The kissing Robert in the locker room though that was fucked up, depending on which (if either) romance route you took. I will concede that.
"I'm autistic and I don't talk like the Good Doctor - this portrayal is ableist"
Hi. Hello. I'm autistic. I speak like that. I have the same sing song cadence, especially when nervous, but I don't have to be experiencing negative emotions for my tone to do that.
I am not arguing that there are not any ableist things in the show, to be clear. But this specific instance of "ableism" doesn't hold up, to me, as being ableist. Just because it doesn't look like your autism, doesn't mean it's automatically ableist.
Why are they paneled like this
Everything else was normal but around the drain it's like
Utter chaos?
Maybe to lead all the grooves to the drain actually now that I follow them around

I did the math, and in Cult of the Lamb, every day is the equivalent of 3.6 years. I am on day 545. That means that Narinder has been in my cult for almost 1000 years more than he had been chained in his realm.
He loves to hashtag farm and make snow angels. He is one of my most bullied followers. He is constantly being beaten up by my gay unicorn, Twinky. Sometimes Narinder wins. Usually not.
Once again furious at the lack of sex education within special education.
My friend is 24 years old and didn't know about STDs or what the word consent means.
He is capable of learning and understanding, but they didn't even try.
Disabled people are incredibly vulnerable to sexual assault. Why the fuck would you not teach them sex education?
I have a friend who wants to learn more about queer history and culture and such, but I'm not entirely sure where to start on helping him with this.
He has a (more severe than mine) developmental disability, and might be borderline ID (I haven't asked, doesn't seem polite) and so I'm struggling on trying to figure out a way to explain things so that he understands.
He usually won't tell me he doesn't understand something until he gets too lost to follow anymore, and while I think using kids' books would help - I don't want to insult him either.
Ultimately, I do plan on just straight up asking him if he'd be offended if I used kids' books since that seems like a pretty easy solution to my problem. But still. This is my blog and my word vomit. I'm gonna say it all.
Anyways.
Do you guys have any recommendations for books that use simple language that will help someone understand being queer and transgender?
I plan on reading "I am Jazz" with him, since our local library has it and I'm gonna focus on transgender stuff first. But past that, any other suggestions?
I have a book of queer history too, but I don't think the language would be accessible to him.
