Quick update on The Crevasse, my canon divergent Zutara fic. Iβm getting back to this story after ages away. I did a read through to familiarise myself with it again, and basically spent the first 4 chapters cringing π I think Iβm better at writing now than I was, so Iβm going to spend some time going back and editing the early chapters. Iβll then get to work on chapter 17.
So far, chapters 1-3 have been updated. No huge changes, but some extended Zuko/ Katara conversations and some big tonal/ prose edits. I think itβs much better, and hopefully you agree β₯οΈ
New content coming shortly- just need to get this out of the way. Will be much quicker for the later chapters.

After the war, Katara loses herself in the rhythms of tribal life. In the South Pole the moon is sovereign. Deep in the ice and snow, and in the heart of her element, it is easy to forget that there is a land of fire, smoke and ash- the kingdom of sun and dragons. Her journey with the Avatar slips into memory: a strange past life, shadowy and ephemeral.
But some things do not stay consigned to twilight, nor to history.
She is 20 years old when she sees him again.
