‘za,’ sevastyan called out to his sister to catch up with her before she slipped out the door. he trusted her and their brothers, but the need to protect her and keep her safe would never fade. ‘you’ve have your gun? extra bullets? knife?’ he asked, eyes looking at her with worry and concern, but most of all.. love. he loved his family, he would obviously do anything for them, he’d work infinitely harder to provide for them. nothing, no one would ever be worth more to sevastyan than his family. he spoke to her in russian, sometimes changing into english but even then his accent was thick and practically russian. ‘zoya, are you prepared for anything that comes your way?’ he asked in a lower tone, the poor girl was going to class and that wouldn’t stop sevastyan from worrying. ‘fuck it, i’ll walk you. or drive? how do you get to school? not the disgusting subways, right? they don’t even have air conditioning like they do back home.’Â
