Prompt: "Favourite Vocal Solo in a U2 song"

Im going to answer this in a bit of an odd way, actually. It's not entirely true to the prompt, but it's a sort of solo.

I always find it funny in a way, that Edge sort of makes these little jokes about his inability to sing well or "Why would you try and sing when you've got Bono in your band" and yet he delivers these absolutely outstanding harmonies that just sound absolutely perfect dipping in and out of Bono's loud and ragious voice.

It's not exactly reflective of the sort of harmonies im thinking of, but I remember when I found the song Numb while listening to Zooropa for the first time. Which, by the way, is such a good album- But I, of course, immediately realised that the song is sung by Edge as opposed to Bono, and I thought even though he uses a very monotone and unchanging choice to sing, its still a really good song, and all the sounds work so well with his singing to create a sort of riveting(?) Song.

(Riveting like how the word riveting sounds when you say it, not the literal definition of riveting.)

Anyways, so for that, I'll say Edge singing Numb is my favourite vocal Solo.
