The first day I bought my Pentax Digital Spotmeter was overcast and generally did not present much exposure range. The sun came out the next day and I metered the bright shadows on this blanket in Zone 5, dark shadows inside creases in Zone 2 and the sunny highlights in zone 7. F4 at 1/60 sec handheld gave me a pretty sharp focus.
