Last night's episode of Grimm featured a vessen who turns people into zombies. I've never understood the fear of a zombie apocalypse. Zombies will probably never happen, but I'll entertain the thought for a quick blog. Item #1 I will outrun the outbreak. I am a marathon runner. I run fast for a long time, for fun. If I were running for my life, I could go much faster and way longer. No doubt. Item #2 If you cant beat 'em, join 'em. Zombiehood might not be so bad after all. My wants and needs as a human being are highly complicated. Brains would be my one and only want as a zombie. Sounds pretty great.
Gingrich officially announces that he will officially announce the official suspension of his campaign.
Of course, Noodles says his "suspended" campaign will shamble on in zombiehood. "I want you to know that we’re going to continue out there on the road. Both Callista and I will be talking, campaigning, making speeches, doing everything we can to help defeat Barack Obama," he says.
So he's going to quit campaigning -- but don't be sad, because he's going to keep campaigning. Yay!
"Is anyone in doubt that Newt Gingrich will still be 'talking, campaigning and making speeches,' until his dying breath?" asks Ed Kilgore. "Callista’s presence on the permanent campaign trail is a bonus offering, to ensure no words are left unsaid. To bad for the Gingriches, and for us long-suffering listeners, that the price per word he commands has really taken a plunge."
Maybe he can get a show on Fox. Or maybe not.
