Untitled // Raven&Reese
Reese liked to consider herself a pretty laid back, go with the flow kind of person. The type that didnât sweat the small stuff and got that sometimes shit just happened. Despite that, she couldnât help feeling just a little bit irritated when after a couple hours Raven hadnât responded to the latest text in their conversation. Still, she followed Arslanâs advice and didnât send the dreaded double text. Even Nadir had pointed out how desperate that looked.
When a day and half later she still hadnât heard anything her housemates finally relented and let her send a follow up, though whether it was because they deemed it appropriate or were just sick of listening her to complain was up in the air. But even then Raven didnât respond. Not one hour later, or two, or fourteen. After two days of not responding, Reese stopped asking her friendsâ opinions and just texted when she felt like it. It wasnât like Raven was ignoring her, right? Anything couldâve happened; she couldâve broken her phone, missed a bill, gotten sick, or hell, fallen into a coma.
After a week of radio silence on Ravenâs side and twenty-seven texts on Reeseâs, the blutonian started to take the hint. Her new âfriendâ was totally ignoring her. And to be completely honest with herself, Reese was a little pissed. If she didnât want to hang out or talk anymore, all it took was a phone call, one message even, to say so.Â
But ghosting?
Dick move.
Quietly seething the entire way, Reese had started boarding to the library just past one in the afternoon, hoping to catch her on her break. If Raven didnât want to associate with her anymore it was whatever, sheâd get over it, but she was going to actually have to say something to get her way. Rolling up to the bench just outside the building, she was actually glad to find the librarian already sitting there reading. She was so not in the mood to wait around for her to get out.
âYou!â
