I mean. Skills-wise, both Chaki and Nakamori have worked together to catch KID, with repeated failures. Akako has single-handedly gotten the upper hand with KID multiple times, and he's been saved by sheer luck. Theoretically, they could catch the lone thief, but since Akako isn't really interested in doing that anymore, I don't think she'd be helping in the first place.
And even if, by some scenario they did all work together (with or without Hakuba), Kaito's protagonist survival luck is so high that he'd be saved regardless. Might get injured, or might have his identity in question at worst, but actually being caught isn't a thing that can happen to him at the moment. Shinichi has his 'everywhere he goes, a murder happens' detective protag power, Kaito has a 'no matter how much trouble I'm in, something will happen to give me the opportunity to escape' criminal protag power. Even if it has terrible consequences, like Kenta's voice throwing Jack off balance.
