ZITI HAS EATEN HIS FIRST RAT WITH ME LIKE AN ABSOLUTE CHAMP, INITIAL SCARED-NESS OF THE TONGS AND RAT UNTIL HE REALIZED IT WAS FOOD AND THEN HE SNUCK UP AND STRUCK LIGHTNING FAST, FULL COIL WRAP AROUND IT.

This means as best I can tell, my tank conditions and lack of touching him for the first week or so are paying off. Even if he was a bit nervous initially while having food offered, his strong feeding response means he feels safe enough and comfortable enough to eat. Minimal stress for him, which is something I was worried about since I read ball pythons can be picky about food, esp when stressed.

Very very proud of the buttered noodle and me for getting stuff right fucking humidity requirements are a bitch when you live where I do.

First handling session with Ziti went FANTASTICALLY.
