zinyuan:
"That makes two of us." it was the truth. Though in this case it had sounded more depressing than ever. She was sure others had gone through such a phase, and that she wasn’t alone. That didn’t mean it didn’t feel heart-wrenching. It was the first time in quite a long time that she grabbed another bottle, but the alcohol didn’t help. Probably because she didn’t want to drink too much and she could hold her alcohol just fine. Although she barely knew the other, she got up. She didn’t look at him when she spoke her next few words, only crossing her arms to protect her bare arms from the cold air. "We could get out of this sleazy place. Let’s go somewhere else."
Thick tendrils of smoke coiled around his head as he sat at the bar, completely annoyed and stressed which was an exceptionally rare combination for the male. Stress was inevitable, which was the reason he was even in this part of town and in this particular bar that had alcohol that was far too watered down for his tastes and patrons that didn't know the meaning of common courtesy. His words were meant for no one, more of a vocal musing that made him look at the other female in interest as she responded to him, taking in subtle details which gave him the impression that she was just as annoyed as he was and without a second thought, he's up and beside the female in less than a few seconds. Call it spontaneity, or maybe intuition, but he had a feeling this was something worthwhile. "You were thinking exactly what I was. But it makes you wonder why we even bothered going there to begin with." Noticing her state, he easily slips his jacket off and drapes it over her shoulders as a friendly and chivalrous gesture, more so to thank her for giving him a reason to leave. "Nice to meet you, I'm Shixun."
