I see a lot of people rush Brutalizer on him but eh. If I ran lifesteal quints I'd rush it for the Armor Pen but I run Armor Pen / AD runes so I get Bilgewater first. It only costs 63 more gold and gives me lifesteal and the active works well with his Ult. And After that I'd much rather go for Hydra than Black Cleaver. With R + Hydra + E + (W for 2nd shadow) Triple Q hit + BotRK, his Ult pretty much 1 shots anything.
Also, it bugs me when a game ends via surrender and I'm sitting on 4k gold and don't get to buy first D;
I've been starting Long Sword + 2 health pots since they made Red Elixer more expensive /= I don't like starting without a ward though. I considered doing Rejuvenation Bead + 4 Health pots + 2 wards or 5 health pots + 1 ward.
