so basically i don't have everything planned out yet but what i have in mind is that akane takes junpei's place in the story and vice versa, but also aoi's in a sense??
she's a college dropout who was initially studying fashion design, but couldn't keep going due to her poor mental health. she has severe survivors guilt bc of what happened 9 years prior . and wishes it was her who died instead. i also want the characters' outfits and bracelet numbers + code names to be different. i have a headcanon that akane wears menhera fashion so i wanted to integrate that here
as for junpei he essentially is in akane's situation as indicated in canon. hongou kidnapped the wrong person so instead of it being aoi, it's junpei though tbh i might change that.. and junpei is the one who dies and gets trapped in a paradox.. eventually he and akane reunite and he asks her to plan the nonary game and it doesn't take her long to accept the offer. akane doesn't tell aoi anything that happened so he's sorta in the dark kinda like how lotus is w her daughters
akane got into college via financial aid
nona and ennea replace the field siblings
akane's backstory stays the same and so does junpei's, their circumstances have changed. in a post 999 world, you'd still get akane's descent into saviorism though
personalities r generally the same otherwise
