There is something to be said for perseverance…and having the last laugh.

When you solve a problem which has been sticking in your side like a shard of broken glass debris, it’s so sweet to sit and just gloat for a minute.

Then, onto the next problem.

…and there always is a next problem, isn’t there? For every little weed that you pull up, three more grow in its place. Sometimes you feel like razing the whole garden, but perhaps that’s not quite your style (see my post “Peace Through Desolation” if it is your style).

All one can do is step back, regroup, and push for ever onward…

What a thrill it is to travel…it is especially pleasurable when one knows the destination one will be travelling to.

Some “brave” soles among us have taken it upon themselves to become cosmic travel agents of sorts…shuttling participants to and from (well, usually just to…) the nether regions of the globe and providing quaint accommodations and an introduction to local customs.

There have been mixed reviews about this enterprise…and often grumbles from participants regarding human rights, freedom of movement. and the lack of swimming facilities (despite the presence of significant quantities of water).

One wonders what will be the end result of all this activity in the larger scheme of history, but one thing is for certain…there are plenty of open spaces available to participate.

Chris Pratt (of Parks & Rec. and Zero Dark Thirty) tones up for his new role in Guardians of the Galaxy by lifting weights and laying off beer.. Impressive! (Even P&R co-star Rob Lowe thinks so).. Anna Faris is one lucky lady!
