i love love love his writing, he's such a complex character and it really interests me, especially ever since his backstory was released, it gave me a reason to feel sympathetic for him, because before his backstory, I honestly just thought that he was a self absorbed asshole. Instead, we actually get reasons as to why he acts the way he does, and I think that's important if you're writing antagonist characters, because sure, antagonist characters don't need a reason as to why their evil or bad all the time, but it really helps us as the audience understand them better.
