For the blorbo etc ask meme - I'd love to hear your blorbos from The Magnus Archives, Warehouse 13 and whatever your preferred season of Dimension 20 is (or just. D20 as a whole I guess)
oh man you really went for my neck huh lmao
TMA
blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most): Agnes Montague my beloved ;_; Hilariously my first time through I was like "yeah I don't really get why people are losing their shit over the avatars, like they're fun but I'm not a monsterfucker I guess" and then episode 68 happened and boy was it all over for me! I too would let Agnes burn off my face for one (1) kiss! I also have a lot of feelings about Melanie King, who is mean and angry and prone to lashing out and doesn't want to be, and I love her so much.
scrunkly (my ābabyā, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped): Gerry Keay has very much become this for me. I love this weird goth boy and I wish we'd gotten more of him <3 but also I feel weird not mentioning Georgie who I also love very very much.
scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave): I just don't think we talk enough about how fucking delightful Nikola Orsinov is, frankly. My favorite scene of hers is where she berates Jon for having a bad skincare routine.
glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I wonāt shut up about it for a week): Jude Perry was so valid, I like seeing Asian bastard representation
poor little meow meow (āproblematicā/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave): who in this series is not problematic lmfao. I guess Daisy bc I feel bad about liking a cop so much fucking oops
horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason): I think I'm supposed to want to send Elias to superhell but damn it's funny when he squirms. remember when Jon [REDACTED]? good times :)
eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell): that one bitch who was like "I can have little a murdering grandmas and newborn babies as a treat, because my life matters more than theirs." That episode makes me ill every time I listen to it.
someone else actually asked Warehouse 13 so I am answering that shortly!
Dimension 20 (I pick D20 as a whole lmao, it's like potato chips, too hard to pick just one)
blorbo: Ayda Aguefort because autistic lesbian representation! Ricky Matsui because I just like a nice Japanese Superman. Katja Cleaver because she's a horse girl, I was always going to love her. Kristen Applebees because same as above except ex-religious lesbian. Sundry Sydney is probably going to round out the top 5 blorbos because I do love a robot learning how to be a person.
scrunkly: Honestly I feel this way about all the Fantasy High/Seven kiddos, like, they're good kids and I love them so much!!!! but also the Misfits & Magic kids. Mildly feral teens who love each other with all their hearts give me a lot of feelings.
scrimblo bimblo: I deliberately don't look at the fandom so I have no idea who is underrated, but I think Kingston Brown is one of the best characters in like, anything. I also really like Danielle Barkstock because she is intensely relatable.
glup shitto: Ayda, obviously, lol. I also think Chungledown Bim is so fucking funny and I cannot wait for him to reappear in Junior Year. OH and Stephen Sondheim!
poor little meow meow: Is Fig this? I don't know. I really dig her chaotic messy angsty teen energy. I also like "Skip" as he is after episode 1 of A Starstruck Odyssey, but I was also kind of looking forward to Zac playing a mean captain, lol.
horse plinko: Cody "Night Angel" Walsh is the perfect fit for this category. He's awful but he makes me laugh so much. I wish the clip of him critfailing with his stupid sword and dealing himself 30 damage, farting, then having his moped fall on him was on youtube because it's my favorite.
eeby deeby: Sam Nightingale's mom, Adaine Abernant's parents, and Kristen Applebee's parents. I would say Penelope Everpetal too but she's already there :)

Yo dude what else is on the dirty bass playlist, that sounds like a fun one.
so no lie for the longest time it was just pleasure drive and hypnotize by biggie (because that bass line is filthy) and I did just listen to those two songs on repeat for my entire commute, however, I have now added some other hipster nonsense:
seven nation army - white stripes (obviously) gigantic - pixies less I know the better - tame impala i turn my camera on - spoon alaska - maggie rogers the chain - fleetwood mac keep on running - andy bull paper planes - mia polyester girl - the gurge ooh la la and strict machine - goldfrapp itās never over (hey orpheus) - arcade fire hits me like a rock - css left hand free - alt-j government hooker - lady gaga playgirl - ladytron juicebox - the strokes knee socks - arctic monkeys hang me up to dry - cold war kids electric feel - mgmt
and, Iāll admit this is probably too fringe for anyone elseās tastes, but howzat by sherbet because I have been waiting for someone to sample that bass line for what feels like my entire life.

2. Top 5 overrated TV shows
OOF okay I am gonna make a rule that I have to have seen at least one episode because otherwise I feel like this would just be like...a list of five shows I donāt care about for petty reasons lmao
Arrow - this one is the one that everyone goes āitās the best DC show!!!!ā ....no itās just miserable and boring sorry
Chuck - I have friends that adore this show but the male gazey shit drove me nuts and I had to stop after Summer Glauās episode, I could not do it anymore
Game of Thrones - lol I just found the episodes I watched very stressful and not pleasant even while it was still considered good
The Office - I perhaps have not given this show a fair shake, but I got stuck at a Halloween party watching a bunch of random Office episodes instead of scary movies, which was the alleged reason for the party, and the one person (not the host) was the only one into it, and I found like maybe 1/3 of the jokes funny, and that was just a very bad introduction to this show Iām sorry
How I Met Your Mother - this show just didnāt age well at all and I found about 2 jokes funny per episode
9. Top 5 characters
Uh...I am gonna say from movies bc I feel like I always put TV characters on these lists lol. I am also only counting characters who originated in a movie so no adaptations. and no Marvel/DC bc I need to branch out
Mako Mori (Pacific Rim)
Dani Ramos (Terminator: Dark Fate)
Elizabeth Swann (Pirates of the Caribbean
Hiro Hamada (Big Hero 6) (this is Marvel technically but it doesnāt count bc I said so)
Furiosa (Mad Max: Fury Road)
31. Top 5 notps
OH BOY TIME TO MAKE PEOPLE MAD AT ME PROBABLY
Sky3w@rd (AOS) - hate this!!!!!! so much!!!!!!! not even gonna be polite about it fuck this ship and honestly fuck the people who kept earnestly shipping it after the Hydra reveal, not sorry, unfollow me idgaf
Reyl0 (St@r Wars) - Iām much chiller about this than I used to be but I donāt like this and I REALLY donāt like the way canon handled this. but also Iām not about to go fight a bitch about it, itās whatever, TROS was a disaster for absolutely everyone so who cares anymore
Sn0wbarry (The Flash) - I actually wouldnāt even mind this as a dynamic except it is SO blatantly a lot of people (not every shipper but a lot of them) being uncomfy with Iris being black and thatās gross. also Cisco is right there and he and Caitlin should kiss
Peter/Harvey (MCU) - I did not think fandom could find a more ridiculous āwhite dicks touchingā ship than Clint/Coulson but here we are, and I do not like it
FtzSmmns (AOS) - I think it was the laziest possible place to take the story, I think the way they decided/are deciding to write their relationship is terrible, I think theyāre horrifically codependent, I think Fitz is a very bad person who isnāt good at thinking of Jemma as an actual human, and I think Jemmaās characterization goes to shit whenever their plotlines interact. If I actually shipped them I would hate the way their story has gone.
32. Top 5 scenes
This is movies again, I can do TV shows if someone wants!
Pacific Rim: the scene where Mako and Raleigh are fighting Otachi and Raleigh is like āweāre FUCKEDā and Makoās like āno thereās something leftā and then she saysĀ āFor my family!ā and SLICES OTACHI IN HALF WITH A BIGASS SWORD, itās the best scene in cinematic history
Shaun of the Dead: Donāt Stop Me Now, like this isnāt even my favorite of the Cornettos but this scene is brilliant
Terminator: Dark Fate: I cannot pick āthe whole movieā even though that is my actual answer but I will pick the scene where Grace says āyou are the futureā because I ascended to a higher plane of existence in the theater the first time I watched it. The dialogue is a little goofy but I just!!!! really like what this movie has to say about humanity and who matters (itās everyone!).
Mulan: the scene where Mulan leaves home. like, I used to act this out all the time as a little kid, I think it contains some of the best visuals Disneyās ever done.
Thor: the scene where Thor apologizes to Loki because when I went to see this movie I was absolutely terrified that it would end up being about a Big Strong Dude who was Big and Strong the whole movie and won the day by being Big and Strong and Having No Feelings Ever. And instead itās kind of a movie about how toxic masculinity hurts multiple generations of men and how expressing your feelings before they reach a boiling point and you lash out and hurt people is really important? And I just really like that. I think this movie has a lot of layers people ignore. (Thor and Aquaman are kind of the same movie and thatās why they are my favorite superhero movies. <3)
zenithofdork replied to your post ābook so far: -Ā āāSupply and demandā does not mean āplease wantonly...ā
LONG WAY TO A SMALL ANGRY PLANET! I adore that book so very very much, enjoy. (the sequel is about side characters, but it's pretty solid too.)
itās one of my favourite things I have ever read I think! I finished it last night and actually reviewed it on goodreads which I never do. (for the tumblr crowd: if you like rag-tag band of space misfits stories with well-developed alien cultures and non-traditional ideas about relationship structures and how people can be important to each other: read this book. itās also laugh out loud funny, quite episodic in pacing so good transition from tv to novels. and all-in-all delightful.)Ā
Iām glad you told me that about the sequel though, since I am once again trying to popsugarās 2017 reading challengeĀ so I donāt want to read anything that doesnāt fill the prompts. and it being about side characters means I am not desperate to read it. which I would be if it was about the main characters. because Iām kind of desperate to read more about them.

zenithofdork said: oh my god that is such pure and lasting dedication, Iām so impressed. The only thing I was into in 2005 that Iām still into is likeā¦Doctor Who? And that is now more like grudging obligation than genuine affection.
yeah, that was another one I hung onto for too long, my sympathies. These though...they just REFUSE to die, the writers have been likeĀ āoh yeah weāre gonna end itā three times now (āoh weāll end it after the original lead character diesā āoh weāre just going to do one prequel seriesā āhereās one last book about what happened after that character diedā³ āJUST KIDDING HEREāS ANOTHER SERIESā), so I think probably they will just continue to pump them out until HarperCollins dies
(also like......yes I could stop buying them....but then my brain would scream at me and thatās just. unpleasant)
zenithofdork: are they all hardcover? that's impressive af.
I mean, mostly itās embarrassing but thank you
I got really lucky with the first series, I found all but one of those in secondhand bookstores. Every single other one Iāve bought within a week of them being released lmao Iāve been reading these since June 2005. this is my longest-lasting fandom. I have regrets
for the ask meme - 32, 36, 42
do you have a favorite towel?
yessss these purple vera wang towels from kohls i got 10 years ago and still use dsfhjkshfjkdshkj
how many times have you changed your url?
i think this is my third account on tumblr; my first one when i was young was a fandom blog and i changed it probably 5 or 6 times; second 1 or 2; this account, which i've had since *checks archive* the end of 2016, and only changed my url once, to this one, and this url is perfect so i have no need nor intention of changing it again
an app you frequently use besides this godforsaken site?
answered (pinterest) but my favorite game is called Piffle, you launch piffles at blocks and try to break them all. i make the most progress on it on long flights while a movie plays in the background, im on level like 200 or 300 and something
