this is an enormous compliment to my entire life thank you
Some replies!
essefex Thought this was gonna be a Stardew Valley mod. What differentiates this game from that one?
Hmm, that surprises me a bit to hear! :o I havenât really talked about Stardew Valley, except to advertise a Humble Bundle with it in it and once to jokingly lament that they released âindie Harvest Moon, but with more features, and also you donât have to be straightâ before we could, hah.
BUT! To answer your question re: differences, Wishbone is much more character-oriented and plot-oriented. I still havenât played Stardew Valley myself, but from what Iâve heard about it, it--like Harvest Moon--has fairly basic characters, opting to focus on item collection and farm upgrades and such rather than character development and plot. With Wishbone, the characters are one of the most important parts of the game, and--I expect--are what people will most remember about it. The main plot filled with cowboy drama aside... even minor NPCs like the Saloon owners, the guy behind the counter at the Bank, and the carpenter who builds your farm upgrades have backstories and secrets to discover.
In terms of gameplay, Iâm not 100% sure what the biggest differences are, since I still havenât played Stardew Valley and both it and Wishbone draw heavily from Harvest Moon-style farming and foraging mechanics. Wishbone does have a lot of minigames, though, and I donât... thiiiink? Stardew Valley does? Wishbone also doesnât have a limited inventory, so you donât have to juggle stuff in and out of storage and are free to carry around 99 Bookcases at all times if your heart desires. You also have a health bar that will get depleted by bears and outlaws if youâre not careful when youâre hunting out in the wilderness.
Also... this game has cowboys in it. :)
daxflame YAAAAY zendria woo! fiftyweasels hell yea!! happymountains-game Your dedication and hard work on the game is really inspiring <3 looking forward to your next update!
Thank you, everyone! That makes us very happy to hear! ^^
Character compare and/or RPG class? (If you only have time for one thatâs fine!)Â
Thank you so much for submitting!
Your character compares are:
Obara Sand - Game of Thrones
Tara - The Wicked + The Divine
Kamala Khan - Ms Marvel
Tara Chambler - The Walking Dead
Your RPG Class Is: Ranger Your upbringing wasâŚnot the greatest. Itâs not something youâre bitter about, you know that your mother did the best she could and you found odd jobs in town to do for a couple silver every few days and that was enough to have a hot meal most nights. You didnât have much, but you had each other. In between your errands, you found the time to practice shooting with your fathersâ bow. It wasnât long before you could notch an arrow, shoot, and have hit your target dead on in the span of a breath. Many of your arrows were rejects from the town blacksmith but they suited your purpose just fine. One night, it snowed harder than youâd ever seen and your mother warned you to stay inside just before she retired for the night. You so wanted to obey her but in the night, in the cold, you heard a high whine that was unmistakably canine. You ventured out, despite you mothers warning, to find a small pup shaking down to his bones. You scooped it up, ran back inside and cradled it to your chest until neither of you were shivering anymore.

zendria replied to your post âwho is the cup man i keep seeing around hereâ
probably cuphead? it's a old-timey-style bullet hell platform game about two siblings trying to save their souls from the devil or something like that
sureuncertainty replied to your post âwho is the cup man i keep seeing around hereâ
i think it's a game! I don't know anything about it though
ahh thank you. i just realized one of my art teachers showed us the trailer for the game about a week ago. i guess itâs completely/mostly hand drawn which is pretty rad
zendria replied to your post: hey so mostly-hypothetical question if i were to...
iâve never played dnd but your storytelling is always rad so if youâre ok w/ newbies iâd be down to play
well i mean if i werenât cool with newbies no one would ever get to play. plus like, iâm hardly the most experienced dm in the world i just figure since iâve Absorbed Much Advice On How To Do It Good and also the one time i've actually dmâd in the past went pretty well considering the circumstances, i probably wonât do too bad. anyway point is i'd be a hypocrite to not allow newbies so youâre a-okay
