Tonight: Four new Housemates, two more "Evil Eyes"... and a heart-to-heart
Four new Housemates moved, on the morning of Day 2...
25-year-old Cameron B is a personal trainer from Bolton. As well as looking forward to the competition, Cameron B says, “I think I'll just love being secluded. No phone, no contact with the outside world. I feel like it’s pretty interesting – a once in a lifetime thing.” He says the Housemates will be surprised by his height (he's 6’5”), and that his strategy is to be nice to everyone.
Richard is a 60-year-old composer and author from London. When asked why he applied for Big Brother, he said, “As soon as I pressed the submit button I thought, ‘what have you done?’ I don’t know what prompted me, honestly. Mine was a complete spur of the moment decision.” Richard has never been married, but has adopted an adult son, who was a refugee.
Feyisola, 33, is a financial investigator from London. She’s hoping she’ll be the “task master extraordinaire” in the House, as she’s good at quizzes. As for why she went into the House, Feyisola – who has Crohn’s colitis – said, “Why not go for it? I've been quite ill for the last few years – I’m finally feeling better – and I was like, ‘now’s the time, why not just do it?’”
And Braintree-based George, 23, is a parish councillor. George says he'll “ruffle feathers” in the House: “I’m always happy to play devil’s advocate and I will contest people’s views on things. If I think something swims against the tide and goes against the status quo I will say it.” He says he doesn't have a strategy, as he doesn't think it's possible to keep up a persona 24/7.
As well as featuring the arrival of the four newbies, tonight’s show has another twist up its sleeve. Big Brother gave the late arrivals two more “Evil Eyes” to give to two original Housemates of their choice – and whoever they choose will face eviction on Friday.
We’ll also see Zelah open up to Sam about his gender transition... and his “toxic masculinity phase”!
Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
