Kai picks up Zeke.

Kai, swaying Zeke: God. Damn. Arms. Race~!

Zeke sings half-coherent as Kai swings him around.

Kai: I'm not a shoulder ta' cry on, but I digresss~

Kai begins to shimmy Zeke madly.

Kai: Imma leadin' man~!

Zeke laughs as he's shimmied above Kai.

Kai, singing louder: Do do do dodoo~!

Just two guys having a nice, platonic walk with platonic intentions and planning a platonic lunch date so one of them can be more acquainted with the other's son and totally keep a platonic, professional relationship with his dad who is also his platonic co-worker.

Zeke knew Jay was his only dad, but the first step-dad he acknowledged was Zane.

He is obsessed with frogs and has multiple habitats made of big Tupperware boxes that house many pampered froggos.

Zane had to hunt for whoever was stealing the Tupperware and found Zeke's frog sanctuary.

He has a dad name for each of his parents.

Jay is Dad, Cryptor is Fafa, Cole is Papa, Kai is Baba, Zane is Daddy, and Innata is Nana.

Zeke hates sharp corners on paper. Has a dainty cutter that rounds his drawing paper's corners.

His favorite food is Cole's duck chili. Child got a stomach of steel, not even Zane likes that chili.

His least favorite food is mushy broccoli. Bad texture too mushy, feels like he's eating something someone already chewed.

When he first met the others, the first thing he did was scream cause he has never been near so many people before.

Before he warmed up to the Ninja, he kept looking to Jay in confused concern until his dad said it was okay.

This AU diverges as of the end of Season 3, Rebooted.

Jay, after being emotionally closed-off from the rest of the group (like the other guys) decides that instead of going the TV host route, leaves to the island lighthouse where the Ninja found Zane's father. A few weeks after Zane's death.

During his short time back on mainland, he acted a little irrational and stole small things here and there of Zane's as not to lose his remaining friend. But when he found Zane's original blueprints tucked away, he had a brilliant idea and disappeared off to the lighthouse.

Months pass and Jay is quietly living the best he can, his impulsive decisions have gotten him a son built within 7 months. The android heavily based on Zane's blueprints by the name of Zeke. He was given a toddler's body, but infused with the element of Lightning, Zeke behaved like a newborn upon activation.

When Lloyd came to the lighthouse to recruit Jay back into the Ninja, Jay had Echo hide Zeke while telling the Green Ninja off. But eventually he felt homesick and decided to go back just to reunite with family.

Ed and Edna went crazy when Jay revealed Zeke's existence and gladly offered to watch him as Jay met with the others.

And things weren't great as vague news of his kid confused Lloyd and Cole, and Kai got mad and made insults to Jay. They finished their meeting like in canon and choose to go to the tournament.

The Walkers watch Zeke for longer as Jay goes, and they find Zane has been repurposed into Chen's service bot without any memory at first. It's when Cole finds Pixal and sneaks her mainframe into Zane's is when he starts to remember.

Afterwards, Jay decides to introduce Zeke and things go... awkward.

Kai feels like a jackass cause his insults were completely alluding to Jay knocking up another girl while he and Nya were split up. Cole is shocked to see that Jay even built anything since Zane's death. Nya is dead set on never getting back with Jay cause she does not want a kid. Lloyd now understands why Jay didn't want to go anywhere in the first place. And Zane is a dad! Kinda. Sorta. Maybe?

The other guys start helping to raise Zeke, and in their time rekindling their friend group, they kinda realize that some romantic feelings were hidden under due to their immaturity and Jay being with Nya kinda blocked some too.

And from there, the guys start trying to court Jay. And Jay responds with awkward resitance, and it takes a while for the polyninja to kick in.

The first one he ever experienced was during his first few months on mainland with the Ninja.
