If you were some sort of monk thousands of years ago who looked up at the stars at night without any city lights being on and having no scientific explanation or technology to figure out what it was you would have only one plausible explanation as to what the fuck is in the sky. You'd think it was magic, or the heavens or some sort of supreme unexplainable being because you wouldn't know any other way to explain it and thousands of years later when people have the technology (and to me), explanations that make a lot more sense, I don't see logic or understanding in why people read and worship scriptures written by people who didn't have as much understanding about space, the universe, human anatomy, medicine or anything like that, because if those same monks or whatever looked up at the stars and had the technology and understanding that we all have today, They would be men of science, not god.
