When Khada Jhin escapes prison and goes on a murderous rampage, Zed has no other choice to stop him but to seek out his oldest friend and mortal enemy: Shen. An uneasy alliance soon unearths uncomfortable memories for the both of them, and they have to face that maybe, just maybe, what they had can be somehow salvaged.

Alternate summary: Exactly what it says on the tin: the Zed Comic general plot, but with a few changes to better fit in the universe I've established for this series. Mainly Shen's characterization and how the last big plot twist plays out. If you're frustrated with how the comic played out, then I think you might like this fic.

For those wondering: I got into League of Legends lore about two months ago thanks to listening to TBSkyen’s design analysis shorts (they’re good, I recommend you check the guy out). I thought about what I’d do differently if I was in full control of League Lore, and the Zed Comic came to mind. I rewrote the entire thing last month, and only now am I facing my cringe on main. (<- making this post at 1:45 am and will probably regret it in the morning)
