i kinda went on a tangent not that long ago abt this. some people see cal as a little sweetheart, which is not fully true, and they also call him completely manipulative, which is not fully true either. kinda a mix of both???

but andres mischaracterization is that hes just an angry guy. like obviously yes he has canon anger issues, but some of yall see him as just always angry. and SOME people see him as an egotistical dickhead.

he obviously feels sympathy, he obviously has human emotions, hes not always angry. and nor does he just flat out not care about anyone and only himself. i know a TON of people who think hes just a cynical bastard.

and its kinda sad too, because both andre and cal are complex characters in their own respective ways. but some people just water them down to the most likeable or useable aspects.
