❝ It’s not the end of the world. ❞ ⸻ °。 @zcrayas.
No. No, it most certainly was not. After all, Daphne felt she understood a thing or two about the end of a world - or at least the closest equivalent to as much. Though she is not without her melodrama, she understands what the pale one is meaning to suggest. A sigh passes through the doll if only by sound, for there was no pout to accompany the breath of expression. A turn of her head and the doll's body chimes delicately, melodically, with the movement.
❝ You must know my frustration at least. - My medallions are precious and precious few. I know not where or how to procure any more than what I have. ❞ And to see one shattered into pieces because of a clumsy fall of her own made her want to break apart just the same. Imparting them as gifts was one thing, a choice of departure, a sentiment. Losing them because of fault could not be withstood ( at least, to her ). Daphne sighs, turning her gaze back towards the broken medallion once more. ❝ I doubt there may be a smith with such knowledge left in all these lands anymore... ❞
