This Silver Sage Burgers abburgerfest "Z-Bomb" burger is absolutely "the bomb." The burger first drew me in when I read about their feature burger's toppings. Who can resist bacon jam, double cream Brie, sautéed mushrooms, leeks and smokey coleslaw? It's really a winning combination. The Alberta beef burger is not for the small appetite. The Z- Bomb 6oz patty is so incredibly juicy and flavourful, you won't be able to stop after the first bite. To get the smokey flavour in their coleslaw I was happy to hear they use local Silk Road Spices red alder smoked sea salt. The things that matter to me when I'm deciding on where to eat or who to buy from: it usually comes down to quality, supporting local business and value. Not only is this burger delicious, local and "the bomb", but you are getting great value. It includes a huge serving of fries and choice of drink for $16. That's amazing. But, you know I would pay a lot more for this burger. It's that good. There's just a few more days left for abburgerfest. It's a win-win for everyone as proceeds of burger sales help many deserving charities in our city. Remember to vote for your favourites!
