Day 13 of trying to make an Undertale fangame
I don't know how much progress I made but I made some, I am way too disorganized to care right now.

She's very happy about her evil baby man flower thing
Day 42 of trying to make an Undertale fangame
More outlining, started character profiling as needed because I started the first draft of the game and planning the gameplay. I have a solid idea of what I want the gameplay to look like, so I'll include it with the script.

Day 37 of trying to make an Undertale fangame
Oh my God.
100% into Undertale. I told myself, "2 hours is enough for today". NO. I've been doing this. for 4-5 hours.
A little over 22k words of analysis, I gotta admit I slacked off towards the end but in my defense, the end of that playthrough was crazy, I had my eyes glued to the screen.
What I learned (or relearned):
-Damn I really needed to do this, I was starting to hallucinate information...
-Toby is not a master writer, but he's a good writer alright? I hold myself to standards that are so high when he's just a guy who writes good. The music makes all the difference for sure though
-Love Alphys, no comment, I have a game to make and there is Alphys in it
-Sans is NOT overhyped, he's a gosh darn great character (okay, maybe he's a little overhyped still)
-I still really like Flowey but he has so little screentime compared to everyone else, pure torture to have as a favorite character. I always cheer when he comes on-screen. As always. As expected
-My interest in everyone has luckily doubled, especially Mettaton and Undyne
-I still have a lot to learn
How common is it for Undertale fangames to feature songs from the creator's favorite music artists that has nothing to do with Undertale? Is it okay? Would a game get taken down if so? People always make music videos with UT characters with songs, but I wonder if it's the same kind of okay with fangames. Obviously, I wouldn't make those the entire soundtrack... Genuinely wondering.
Day 22 of making Undertale fangame
I reached 25% of Undertale. Phew!
Now...
I have a school assignment and I don't want to slack off on it any longer. A timer of 2 hours will be set the moment I post this. The challenge is that I finish the assignment before the time is up. If I don't do it, my failure will be public which you know I don't want because I have to be perfect (/j) (/j on the perfect part i really dont want to fail man)
