Having finally shaved and cleaned up, Jak is kind of unsettled by how young he looks. Mar doesn't see what the big deal is. Unless it means maybe Damas will make Jak go to school like he does. Fair is fair.

WATCH THIS FILM (if you like)

Okay guys, so by chance today, I stumbled on this French, 2D-animated film about a young Sudanese boy who escaped a slaver and made friends with a giraffe, a Bedouin prince, two cows, a French aeronaut, and a pirate queen.

It is beautiful, fun to watch, and Tumblr may love it for the following reasons:

Cast is primarily POC and positively portrayed

Main character is POC, and completely and utterly lovable

Art style is beautiful

Adorable animal friends

Extremely hot guy

Honestly though look at that guy

what a hottie

*cough*

Also it's really touching

badass lady character

slavery depicted in a kids movie (well kid-friendly movie anyway)

And the animation is just AMAZING

Worth a watch, I promise you. If I could just find it on DVD, I'd buy it. But meanwhile, you can see the trailer here and the full movie with subs can be found here (although there are teeny bits where the subs fail, it's not too much that it ruins the film).
