Lianne Zannier is an animator and visual artist. Her work involves integrating an interest in art and cultural history through research and practice. Her short animated films shift between the surreal and the fanciful while exploring a relationship between the medium of drawing with traditional forms of animating on paper.
Her projects can range from large-scale group drawings to immersive installations and animated short films. She holds a BA in Art History from Mount Allison University (Sackville), a BFA in Film Animation from Concordia University (Montreal) and is currently completing a MAA at Emily Carr University of Art and Design (Vancouver).
