the 'we need to ban racemixing' stuff only works as an american political project when you're white, because if you're black in america, even if you're biracial and/or lightly complected and/or your hair has looser curls, if you don't 'pass,' you're treated as black. colorism is real and black people with deeper skin tones are treated worse, but you're still black. a reverse 'one drop rule' treats race as, like, fantasy lore, and not a way to justify treating some workers worse than others (why the whiteness was invented in the first place). it is actually a very idealist conception of race. authentically fascist.
