Zamia furfuracea / Cardboard Palm at the Peace River Botanical & Sculpture Gardens in Punta Gorda, FL
Zamia sandleyi is native to Central America where it endangered due to habitat loss. It is in the ancient plant division of cycads which preceded the flowering plants and were much more plentiful in the age of the dinosaurs.

A Mystery Plant in Puerto Rico, from my IRL bud Keef. He'd ask his neighbor, but his Spanish is still too feeble to survive the onslaught of her answer
Edited to add: Keef got himself a plant identification app, and it is Zamia pumila, AKA Florida Arrowroot, Seminole-bread, Sago-cycas, Comptie, Coontie, Indian breadroot. It is a Cycad relative (V ancient tree species) and its status is near-threatened.
