big spoon/little spoon:

Aerith’s the big spoon.  She complains that she gets too hot at night if Zack’s all cuddled around her.

favorite non-sexual activity:

According to Zack everything.  Any time he gets to spend with Aerith is his favorite.  

who uses all the hot water:

Aerith claims it’s Zacks fault, Zack says it so wasn’t but it probably was.  The fact of the matter is they ended up in a water fight when they were trying to do the dishes and now everything’s soaked, and the hot waters gone.

most trivial thing they fight over:

Zack doesn’t understand why she won’t let him help out more. He’s a big, strong guy so he’d love to help her move soil, pull weeds, you know...anything. He just wants to help with the flowers.

So, they get in an argument about the flowers. Why can’t he help. Doesn’t she trust him? Of course she does, that’s not it. And on, and on, and on until they realize they’re arguing about flowers and have made it into this entire thing. Then they start laughing.

who does most of the cleaning:

Zack’s mother didn’t raise him to be a complete plebian, and Aerith enjoys tidying up. Together they do all the work in half the time and have a ton of fun while they’re at it.

The fact that they often make more or a mess while cleaning doesn’t matter.

what has a season pass on their dvr/who controls the netflix queue:

Zack lives on a mixed diet of action movies and animated kid’s films.  Aerith will watch anything, quite happily.  

who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working:

Zack, after whining about the lack of heat, will usually shuffle over and give the man a call.  He groans and whines pathetically the entire time, and Aerith just shakes her head, amused.  She knows he can’t be that cold.

who steals the blankets:

As mentioned, Zack is a giant baby when it comes to being cold, so at the slightest chill in the air he’ll turn into a giant wad of blankets.  Aerith’s fine with that...it means her darling living heater isn’t making her too warm to sleep for a bit.

who leaves their stuff around:

Aerith’s a bit more haphazard with her things than Zack is, after so many years in military service.  She’s used to the warm home she was raised in, where everything had a place, but that place didn’t necessarily define it. Where flower pots were kept all over, and knick-knacks covered every surface.

who remembers to buy the milk:

Zack is one-hundred percent thoughtful. But mostly he likes milk, and he likes making sure the people he cares about eat well and look after themselves.  Plus, he’s an active guy who needs all the right nutrients.
