WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?
“What is my earliest memory?” he repeats the question that the robot?— thing? has given him. It was a rather unexpected question for Zachary to answer. He really didn’t think that anyone— most especially a robot— would ask him something like this. And when did this robot even appear right in front of him? It’s weird. Not really something one would expect to happen to anyone. Did anyone even receive something like this before and not just him? Should he even answer the question or should he just walk away and forget that it even happened to him? Though it’s been awhile since he talked to anyone, he thinks.
“Well it wouldn’t hurt to answer, right? And besides, it’s a freaking robot— Maybe I’m just dreaming, yes, that’s right.” he mumbles to his self as if it’s normal for someone to do it. But then again, it’s only him and the robot in the area right now so maybe it might not be bad to answer.
"I don’t really think that it’s my earliest human memory but this is the only thing I remember right now…” he brings one hand up to idly tap his fingers against his chin, thinking of how he would answer the question without saying too much about him and what he was as a child. “Well you know when little boys tease their crushes? Like pulling at girls’ pigtails and such?” he asks the robot even though he knows that it won’t really answer him, looking at it with a rather lethargic expression. “I did that before. Well a lot of little boys did but yeah— that’s my answer. It’s enough, right? Good.” he doesn’t wait for the robot to answer because, again, he doesn’t expect it to.
