Besides the Texas flooding thing, do you think tumblrs been kinda different lately? Like people's beliefs are starting to get a little irrational?
Oh my god the Texas flooding thing makes me so angry. I've come to expect this close minded, ignorant, dark "humor" (if you can even call it that) fom somewhere like 4chan but this is fucked up coming from tumblr.Other then that, I can't say for sure as I haven't been on tumblr very long. (Closing in on a year now) One thing I guess I've noticed is people are getting a little trigger happy with the call out post. Like how sixpenceee was called out recently for being an ableist? I'm not trying to be an *~*apologist*~* (god that word is so misused on this site) but I've read all the claims, and I thought it was a little far fetched, it felt like the person calling them out was grasping for straws. I don't think the person running that blog meant to be ableist, but no one here seems to understand blogs are run by humans, and humans make mistakes. Call out post seem to be popping up a lot recently and every time I see them, I'm always like "goddammit who did what now? why can't everyone just behave and get along?" I am 3000% done with "call out" post.
