HAH NO NOO i think theyre fine & I do like them. but i have expressed annoyance at how pynch takes up more space in fandom than like, blue for example, (who is the protag,) + other ships, stuff like that. i also don't think stief is a romance writer, and reducing her character(!!!) driven stuff to just romance grinds my gears

also i think even if u like something u should be aware of its flaws and not sand it down into something bland and inoffensive which I find. p*nch stannies in particular to be guilty of. also note that pynch shippers ≠ stannies(derogatory)

people very much do fall into turning pynch into Generic Black Haired White Boy x Generic Blonde Haired Twinky White Boy which it isn't really & that's sad
