I think I mentioned these guys a good while ago! Like, waaaayyy back when I was just starting to write for this blog! And yet... I haven’t mentioned them since. Let’s fix that!

These X-shaped enemies are appropriately enough, the guards of the X-Nauts. The log describes them as “pathetically ugly,” which I think goes to show that I obviously was not the writer of that log. I know my sense of “cute” is warped to the Underwhere and back, but I would absolutely snuggle with one of these things given the opportunity. So what do Yuxes do?

Why, summon their own guards, of course! Everyone knows that your guards need their own guards! These triangular enemies are called “Mini-Yuxes” and are summoned by Yuxes as protection! You can’t hurt a Yux until all the Mini-Yuxes are defeated, so you need to be mindful! You wouldn’t attack a mom without attacking her children first! That’s just rude.

Mini-Mini-Yuxes are unfortunately, not a thing that exist, or at least, not that we can see. Maybe Mini-Yuxes summon their own guards, but the guards are just too hard to see and ineffective at guarding Yuxes from your attacks. You never know!
