On Saturday 13th February 2016 Plateau Gallery presented “TIME is Love.9″ [Show 1] an International video art program. This event included the incredible perfomers Adi Liraz & Sanija Kulenovic, who presented an astounding peformance called “ExDress” on the 8th floor of Greenhouse Berlin.
Some words about the performance: From the begining, the women captured the attention of the audience by seating some of them inside their constructed stage area. They succeeded to build a performance based on their environment and feelings which was easily felt by the audience. One of the girls was tied up with a dress that was connected to the other perfomer’s knitted scarlet dress, acting as victim and perpetrator. Their complementary actions of deconstruction and restriction; domination and subordination; became emotional gestures that finished as a mutual liberation from their two different cofines.
