#yuno fluff

“I’m not your enemy, Asta,” you cooed.

His nose rubbed along yours, warm breath fanning your cheek. A pleasant tingle spread throughout your body from being this close to the grey haired hunk.

“Sorry,” he whispered in return, “just never thought I’d get to do this with you.”

For years you had stood on the sidelines and rooted for him enthusiastically. Not able to be of use in battle you had contented yourself with being his unwavering support. Tending to his aching body after intense training sessions and always lending a willing ear when he needed to unburden himself.

You had not known that as your feelings had grown, so too had Asta’s. You were what he thought of when he held his ground against the most wicked of enemies, the flame that burned bright in the darkest of nights.

At long last, he told you the truth.

The rough pad of his thumb traced your lower lip before sliding to your jawline, his lips met your own once more but this time in soft reverence. Butterfly kisses that made you long for more, mouths slanting as you inhaled each other and enjoyed his tender but protective embrace.

Asta parted your mouths, smirking at the soft sigh you exhaled. Eyes as green as freshly grown grass watched you closely, his head tipped to the side in curiosity whilst you caught your breath.

“Better?” he asked earnestly.

How adorable he was in his uncertainty. The faintest pink tinges his cheeks and a hand lifts to rub absently at his neck.

You nodded shyly.

“Much. Don’t stop practising though,” you purred as a hand curled into his Black Bulls cloak, drawing him back to you.

Yuno

Yuno knew he wanted to kiss you, he had wanted to for a long time but had not yet found the perfect opportunity. He had grown so desperate in his desire to fulfil his wish that he was almost as giddy as a schoolchild when the time finally arrived.

You were rooted to the spot as golden eyes roamed your face with utter reverence. Too shocked by his sudden affection to react in those first moments. He inched closer until you could feel the heat from his skin upon your own and your breath hitched as you thought him about to deliver that tender first kiss.

When his cool feather-soft lips kissed at the very corner of your mouth, it was maddening. Yuno was teasing you, peppering quick kisses to your flesh but never coming close enough for your lips to meet.

He chuckled as you finally snapped.

One hand curling around his neck, fingers sinking into the silky black strands at his nape and forcing him to acknowledge you properly. His lips had warmed from all his sweet teasing and the kiss was firm but loving.

With you, he did not need to compete. There was no desire to prove yourself more worthy than he, you accepted him for who he was. Your presence was a comfort to Yuno and he did not fear to show you the real him, free from expectation and contempt.

“Thank you,” he whispered against your lips, pulling you back before you could question him.

His hands settled gently on your waist as you both sank into the experience. Before long you could not discern where you ended and Yuno began, and you never wanted to be parted from him again.

Finral

For all the womanising Finral chose to indulge in, when it came to his first kiss, he was cautiously hesitant.

The opportunity had arisen on several occasions, he was a handsome man after all, but he had known that those times had not been his destiny.

You were different, and the spatial mage adored that you were bold enough to tease him in a way no one else ever had. You appreciated him, never took his magic for granted and your tongue was sharp enough to ensure that his Black Bull friends knew not to treat him harshly.

It was more than obvious that Finral liked you, but getting him to act upon those feelings proved harder than you had assumed. You decided to take matters into your own hands.

A finger twisted around a loose strand of his green-tipped hair, enjoying the bob of his Adam’s apple and the flood of red that coursed up the sides of his neck as you asked him so sweetly, “can I kiss you?”

He nodded, not trusting his voice to remain unbroken. Finral watched as a pink tongue peeked from between your lips to wet the plush skin. Eyes the colour of an ocean of violets in bloom memorised every detail as your head tilted and lashes fluttered shut.

Finral tasted sweet like honey, his moistened lips slid in time with your own. Gentle gave way to heat, a smouldering fire rather than a flash of flames. He grew confident as the seconds passed, a hand speared into your hair and held your head as he deepened the kiss.

It had to end, as all good things do, but it hurt to part from his mouth. He looked flushed, hair mussed from your wandering fingers and a sinful darkness crept into his eyes.

“Can we do that again?” he asked on an exalted sigh.

Magna

Magna was used to fighting for what he most wanted in life and that included you. It wouldn’t be remiss to say that he was one of the most hard-working members of the Black Bulls, and his determination could rival even that of Asta’s.

A willing sparring partner, you pushed him to surpass his limits, just as Captain Yami had taught you. Nothing riled him more than seeing that fighting spirit twinkle in your eyes before launching a barrage of vicious attacks.

Magna’s magic was suited to ranged attacks but he couldn’t help but bring the fight to you, often ending in one of you pining the other until a breathless surrender was made. It was one of these many times that he chose to shoot his shot.

Now you might think that it would have been during one of the occasions that he pinned you, but no, he waited until you were ready to begin your usual gloating routine to strike. Whilst you were straddled over his stomach, feet wrapped around his thigh to prevent kicking and hands holding down his wrists, he closed the distance.

The kiss was a shock; his head lifted from the scorched ground to place the fleetingly hot kiss against your slightly parted lips. He watched through his tinted glasses, carefully judging your expression to see if he had ruined your friendship.

He was not the only one capable of shocking; you let go of his wrists and chose to capture his mouth instead. Busying your fingers in the streak of black hair that fell into his face, the kiss quickly became your new battleground.

Neither of you willing to submit to the other, mouths slanted and teeth nipped as things moved along much quicker than expected. Your tongue traced a path along his swollen lower lip, Magna moaned in his throat and finally panted out.

“I surrender!”

Liebe

Liebe didn’t think he understood the concept of love. It was difficult given his devil status, Hell was not a place where one would find compassion and softer emotions.

His first taste of the feeling of love was during his brief time with Richita and he missed that period of his life.

He didn’t believe he would feel it again, that was until he met you.

Liebe couldn’t shake the nervous fluttering that erupted in his stomach every time you walked through a door, his voice trembling as he replied to your genuine questions over his welfare.

It took an embarrassing conversation with Asta for the sweet-hearted devil to finally realise that he liked you – a lot. Not as a comrade, nor as a friend but as someone that made him feel whole in a way he hadn’t thought probable.

Of course, you liked Liebe in equal measure. You didn’t care one bit that he was a devil, choosing to weigh his actions and heart over anything else. From the top of his messy snow-white hair to the tip of his pointed tail, he was adorable.

The day you both admitted your feelings, it was a miserable day with everyone choosing to depart the hideout. He watched from the doorway as you read a book, curled into an armchair and looking cosy beneath a blanket.

You beckoned him in and made room for him to share the squishy seat with you. Without asking you started to read the story aloud to him, it was a story where a boy and girl realise after many years that they are in love and when the time came for them to kiss, you lowered the book to find Liebe staring at you intently.

No further words were needed.

He was so gentle as he admitted his feelings with the softest brush of his lips. Hesitancy lined his every move, constantly moving back to peer at your expression and gauge your reaction.

Liebe was terrified of accidentally hurting you with his sharp teeth, so much so that he refused to deepen the kiss despite your want.

Instead, the devil contented himself with peppering every inch of your face – cheeks, nose, brow – with kisses that were as soft as the petals of a dewy flower.

When it came to the holidays Yuno had always loved to be able to go home. His favorite people were in Hage village and he enjoyed being around them. Even though it might not always seem like it, he adored being home.

And whenever the holidays came around he got to see you.

Your letters that you would send back and forth always made your heart flutter, but every time the holidays came around you had that looming fear.

You had the fear that something would happen and he wouldn’t be able to come back. A holiday without Yuno was something you never wanted to experience. As much as you hated to admit it, he made your holidays just that much better.

So this year when the letter came through about Christmas you felt those normal heart flutters.

As you opened the letter and began to read you were hooked to every word. But then you got down toward the end of the letter and your worst fears seemed to be coming true.

“I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it home this year. As much as it pains me to say it…”

Your heart dropped and you placed the letter on the table next to you, not able to read another word. Your first holiday without Yuno. You had so many plans for this year.

This year you had wanted to tell him everything that you had been feeling for years. You wanted to tell him how much you adored him, how proud you were of him, how happy he made you.

But his new role as Vice Captain of the Golden Dawn was keeping him busy, and now that you had finally reached adulthood you were expected to do more around the church. You helped Sister Lily take care of all the children, you helped her take care of the living space, and you helped all the people around the village as much as you were able too.

You sat on your bed and pulled your knees to your chest, holding them there as you tried your hardest to keep your cool. Christmas was only two days away and this was the worst news you could have gotten.

A small tear slid down your cheek and you laid on your side, covering yourself with your blanket, wanting the next two days to move quickly so that you could get through the day you were now dreading.

The day came as slowly as it possibly could and you made your way down to the living area. The smiles that painted all the childrens faces was something that normally would make you smile as well, but this year it just wasn’t happening. You put on a fake smile and made your way to the couch.

The familiar ash-blonde hair of the loudest man you knew popped through the doorway as you sat on the couch. “Hey everyone! Guess who’s here!”

You couldn’t help but smile as Asta finished walking through the doorway. Despite the length of time since you had seen him, he always acted like it had only been a day. He walked over to you and wrapped his arms around you, pulling you in and squeezing. “It’s been a while, Asta.”

Asta smiled and held you out at arm’s length. “It really has been. It’s nice to see you, Y/n.”

You painted that fake smile on yourself again and made your way back to the couch, Asta flopping down beside you. “I can’t believe that I made it here before Yuno did. Usually I’m the one that’s late.”

You leaned back and pulled your legs onto the couch, crossing them underneath you. “Yea, well, things are different this year.” Did Asta really not know that Yuno wasn’t coming?

“Where is he anyways?” Asta looked around, confusion painting his features.

You sighed and opened your mouth, you really didn’t want to be the one to tell him this. “Asta, Yuno is-”

A familiar voice cut you off and you whipped your head around. “I’m right here, you idiot.”

As you turned around you saw the raven hair of the man that you had been wanting to see for days now. A small fairy fluttered above his shoulder and stuck her tongue out at Asta. “Do you really think my Yuno would miss this for the world?”

The smile that now adorned your face was real, no longer did the fake thing need to happen. You stood from the couch and started for him, throwing your arms around his shoulders and smiling even more when you felt him wrap himself around you as well.

You wanted to say more, but you felt the lump in your throat grow as you swallowed hard. The only words you could muster as a small tear slid down your cheek made everyone in the room beam. “It’s a Christmas miracle.”

Yuno placed a soft kiss on your temple and close his eyes, happy to be with you, happy to have you in his arms.

As the festivities came to an end and things began to wind down you stood from the kitchen table, motioning to Yuno to follow you.

He stood from the table without hesitation and did just that.

As you reached the front door and opened it the brisk night air nipped at both of your faces. Yuno watched as you grabbed the corners of your sweater and pulled it toward you. He slipped his robe from his shoulders and wrapped it around you, and to your surprise he pulled you into him.

“Yuno?” You were shocked that he had done something like this. He was never this open with you.

Yuno placed another kiss to the top of your head and his voice almost shocked you as he broke the silence. “I have something that I want to tell you.”

You didn’t say anything and turned to him, his grip keeping you against him as he held you tightly.

“I want to tell you this before I go back to headquarters… I’ve wanted to tell you this for a while.” You felt him swallow hard hesitate before beginning again. “I’ve felt like this for a long time, it’s part of the reason I’m always so happy to come back home every year.” He continued without ever really saying what he wanted to say. “It’s been weighing on me for so long and I need to get it off my chest.”

You reached up and placed a finger over his lips. “Yuno, what’s going on?”

Yuno had never thought that it would be this hard to tell you. “Let me just show you.”

His lips pressed to yours and your heart fluttered, threatening to flutter right out of your chest. Your lips lingered together and neither of you moved. Had Yuno really been the one to do this first? This wasn’t like him at all.

When he pulled away from you the words that left his lips next shocked you once again. “I love you, Y/n.”

You felt your cheeks grow warm and you cupped his face into your hands. “I love you too, Yuno.”

You felt eyes on you and when you turned around the faces of the villagers were on you. Smiles filled the crowd and when you both turned to see them cheers erupted. How had the village known about your feelings between you two before you had even figured it out?

But the feeling of enlightenment mixed with the beautiful sight of the snow that was now starting to fall over the village made the ambiance undeniably amazing.

You stared into the amber eyes of the man that had finally told you how he felt, watching as he started to chuckle softly. He placed his hand in your hair and pushed your head toward his chest, holding you against him once again. “Best Christmas present ever.”

You tried to process what you had seen, was that the surprise? Was she trying to tell me that he’s cheating on me? You leaned on the edge of the fountain, head buried in your elbow as you sobbed. Was this past year a waste? Did I do something wrong? Thoughts raced in your head, you held your head, trying to get the pounding to stop but it was no use; you felt positively awful. 

You heard footsteps approaching and looked up to see Yuno, cautiously standing near you, concern contorting his normally placid face. “What do you want, cheater? Weren’t you busy with Mimosa?” Your voice was scathing and you could have sworn you saw Yuno flinch, but your anger reduced itself to tears as he lowered himself to the ground to sit next to you. “How could you do this?” You wailed, “Was I not good enough for you? Was this all a lie? Were you seeing her all this time? I don’t understand, I thought we were good, but now that I think about it you have been a bit distant lately, you haven’t even told me you loved me in weeks.” You were breathing heavily after you unloaded, shoulders shaking. 

Yuno found himself at a loss for words, this is something he hadn’t had to deal with before, and your words weighed on his mind. I made her feel that way? What do I do? Geez, what did Sister Lily say about this again? That sometimes people may get upset if you’re not open with your emotions?  He tentatively brought his hand to your shin and stroked it with his thumb. You were tempted to swat his hand off of you, but couldn’t bring yourself to do so, it was strangely comforting even though he was the one you were upset with at the moment. After a long while of sitting there in silence, Yuno shifted. “Hey.. hey… can I explain?” He asked. Tearfilled eyes met concerned ones, and you nodded. 

“The truth is, Mimosa asked me to help her hang something up on her wall. She wanted it higher than she could realistically reach herself, so I was up on the stepladder trying to get it up where she wanted it. The ladder became unstable and I fell, and you walked in on the aftermath of Mimosa breaking my fall.” Yuno said simply, wiping the tear that rolled down your cheek. “Oh.” You whispered, regretting the scathing tone you had used with him earlier. Yuno leaned forward to plant a kiss on your cheek, then embraced you tighter than you ever remembered him to do so. He lightly brushed your ear with his lips, then rested his forehead on your shoulder; to your surprise you felt teardrops fall and roll down your arm. 

“I’m sorry Y/N.” Yuno whispered. “Gosh, I haven’t cried in forever. I’m so sorry I made you feel that way, like I didn’t love you, and that I’ve seemed distant. The truth is I’ve never felt like this before, about anyone.” He cleared his throat, “I’ve never felt so strongly about someone before, it’s terrifying how afraid I am of losing you. I’m sorry I’m not very good at showing deep emotions like that. When I was a child, I was such a crybaby; I know that may be surprising, but I made a vow to myself that I wouldn’t cry again. And I think as a result of shoving that part of myself down, I also got better at not showing any emotions. I’ve never loved someone the way I do you, and it kills me that I made you feel like you weren’t good enough, that the thought I would ever cheat on you crossed your mind.” He squeezed you even tighter, if that were even possible, and you held him in your arms. 

“Thank you for being so open with me.” You whispered, stroking his back. You felt Yuno nod, and you pulled away to look him in the eyes. You both leaned forward to press your foreheads together, hands on each other’s heads. “I’m sorry I jumped to conclusions.” You said, a little sheepishly. Yuno smiled, “No apologies necessary, if you jump to conclusions, just know I’ll always be there to catch you.” 

Liebe

Nervous during the entire pregnancy, loses a lot of sleep simply from worrying over how you will cope with the birth of a hybrid baby.

Super protective and allows only the people he trusts the most anywhere near you. Growls at Dr Owen when he examines you until you grab his hand and tell him that all is okay. You want him to relax but it is so hard for him.

When the baby arrives, Liebe is overwhelmed with a love he had never previously experienced. He loves you but the love for his child is on a different level.

He has to be pushed into holding the tiny bundle, too overcome with a fear of doing something wrong, but that first touch and everything changes. The wildly flailing and jerking limbs of his newborn baby is enough to bring tears to his eyes, which he hastily wipes away.

Liebe is a hands on dad and wants to take on as much of the parenting duties as possible. It wouldn’t be fair to leave it all to you (isn’t that the dream?). He knows that’s there will be times he can’t be at home, times when he has to go on missions with Asta but he pulls off his weight when he is around.

The sweet-natured devil is a bit of a pushover and rarely says no to his precious child. They want to eat treats an hour before dinner time? Sure, just don’t tell mom. They want to go for a ride on Uncle Magna’s crazy cyclone? Uhhh, okay but he is coming too!

Overall, Liebe is a worrier by nature and having a child doesn’t help that. He will be the most protective of dads and ensure that his child grows up to know how loved they are. A good childhood and plenty of nurture is what he offers.

Asta

An excited ball of endless energy. He spends the entire pregnancy with stars in his eyes and yelling constantly. Asta couldn't wait to announce the news to all his friends, and he had a hard time waiting until you were ready. It was kinda adorable though.

Very supportive but doesn't really get what the fuss is about, surely carrying a baby can't be that bad? Receives multiple scoldings from you and others such as Vanessa and Mimosa.

The first cry of his newborn baby was the best moment of his life, bar none. Asta hadn't thought the bond would be as instantaneous as it was but he knew he'd do anything for this little squalling bundle of joy.

Asta is very childlike, sometimes it's like you are caring for two children. He can't be depended on for seeing through the consequences of naughty behaviour, poor papa is wrapped around that chubby little finger.

You never have an issue with sleeping troubles because Asta wears that child out! Endless games, mischievous adventures and stories of his past missions (child friendly, obviously) with dramatic re-enactments. They will out like a light as soon as their head touches the pillow.

Overall, he is not great at being authoritative or strict but will devote all his free time to entertaining and loving your child. He is a fantastic dad, and you won't be stopping at just one.

Yuno

Pure dread, cold sweats and sleepless nights. It's not that he doesn't want a child, he desperately wished to provide a childhood that he had only ever glimpsed, but he is terrified.

You'll spend a lot of time reassuring him that all will be okay, and Yuno loves to rest his head gently on your bump and simply hum soft noises. He is too embarrassed to speak to the baby growing inside but he knows that hearing his voice will be a benefit.

He is in love with how much the beautiful baby looks like you, the light of his life, and he silently promises to make sure they spend every moment of their life knowing they are loved unconditionally. Yuno grew up thinking he had been abandoned, the same would not be the same for his child.

Yuno can be strict, but mainly because he doesn't want you to feel stressed out. Harmony is something he strives for so he will be calm and fair at all times. His child will know the house rules, knows when not to push too far and when they will get away with murder.

He struggles with engaging in childish play, it's not in his nature but he tries - he really does. Tea parties? Playing hide and seek? Reading yet another bedtime story? Yuno will do it all, and more.

As long as you are by his side, parenthood doesn't seem that bad. With your reassurance and patience, he can accomplish anything, and your child will be a part of a large extended family of some pretty wild characters.

They might be an only child by blood, but they will have so many brothers and sisters by choice as they grow up with the children of Asta, Langris, and Klaus - just to name a few.

“Do you not want me here?” He raised a brow. With a sigh you looked up at him as he swayed your bodies in a circle.

“No, no- I just don’t want people finding out.”

“Ten knows.” his brows furrowed.

“That’s not what I meant,” you frowned when Jaehyun stopped moving and pulled away from you.

“Then what do you mean, y/n?”

“I just don’t want people finding out that their boss had her first orgasm at twenty-six, after she got divorced from her husband of eight years.” you explained.

“It’s nothing to be ashamed of.” he mumbled and leaned against your desk as he watched you pace back and forth across the room.

“I-I’m not ashamed; it’s just a little embarrassing, I mean- they see me as such a strong figure that I just don’t want them to know.”

“First, you just contradicted yourself completely; second, why don’t you just tell them we’re a couple? Surely if you tell them that, they’ll back off.”

“But that’s the thing!” you cried. “We’re not a couple! I don’t want to lie to them, because what if they find out and then never believe me when I tell them when I’m actually dating someone? What then?”

“So then let’s date.”

“Yeah, maybe we should do that- wait what?” your strides stopped and you turned to stare at a smiling Jaehyun.

“Y/n,” he slowly got off the edge of the glass table, and made his way towards you. “Would you do me the great honour of letting me take you out on a date?” He took you by the hand and pulled you in close the way he did only moments before.

“We’ve been on some already, why are you asking me this now.” You asked as you lip jut out just a tad.

“Well that was before I had confirmed that we shared the same feelings.” Jaehyun stated. “Plus, I wouldn’t really count those as ‘dates’— so let me take you out on a real one; as someone who wants to be your boyfriend, not just your personal call boy.” You scoffed at his self-degrading choice of words. “Is that a yes or a no?” He tilted your chin up with a finger.

“I’ll sleep on it.” You let out a breath of air and cast your eyes to the side, as if you really did need to think much about his offer.

He leaned in close to the right side of your face, his lips grazing your ear when he softly spoke. “If you say yes, I’ll make love to you the way I should’ve the first night I saw you.”

And just like that, you were a goner— knees weak, crumpling like a piece of paper in his arms. He chuckled deeply and kissed your temple when you scolded him.

“Don’t say things like that when we’re in public.”

“We’re in a room that you locked and that you shut all the blinds to. So think baby,” with his chest flush against yours, he looked you straight in the eye. “Are we really in public?” his voice was lowered to a deep growl.

Before you could answer, there was a knock at the door and the jingle of a set of keys.

“Chair, now.” you whispered harshly. In a flash, Jaehyun flicked the lights on and took one long stride to a seat in front of your desk, sitting on the lush cushion just as the door opened.

“So, Mr. Jeong- what brings you here?” you asked, placing the pads of your fingertips together- forming a triangle. Your eyes darted to the woman who had opened the door, Ten standing behind her with a smile of annoyance.

Trying to keep his smile down, his tongue poked at his cheek before he replied. “I’ve come in place for my mother, she wanted to discuss something with you about the recent photoshoot you had promoting her new line.” the man crossed his legs, clasping his hands together.

“And what is it that she would like to discuss, Mr. Jeong?”

“She didn’t tell me exactly, but she did say that she wanted to talk about it over dinner; so shall I give you the details?”

“Oh yes of course! Use these.” you slid over a pen and notepad.

Jaehyun quickly scribbled something down before sending it back your way. You felt his eyes watching you as you read his neat writing.

If you call me Mr. Jeong one more time, I’m going to have to fuck you right here.

“Well, Jaehyun I will contact your mother- please leave.” your hand pointed to the door where your co-workers were still watching in bewilderment as your teasing demeanor disintegrated into a flustered one.

Arguments became training sessions instead, urging each other to get stronger. And when Bell came into the picture, the sparring became even more fun. You and Bell became fast friends, which surprised even Yuno, but he didn’t mind much; he was glad that she had made a friend besides him.
